• Make sure you eat something before your appointment and bring some snacks! Salty and Sugary is always good.
You will probably get hungry and a bit tired.

  • This is different per artist. I prefer if you don’t shave in advance to prevent little wounds.
I cannot tattoo on top of wounds.

If it is in a very hairy area you can ofcourse trim it in advance.

  • Where I work there are multiple artists present. To keep it a calm and focussed place we ask you to not bring guests. If you require to have someone present because of special needs we can accommodate. Please let me know in advance!

  • If you use medication, have allergies or other medical conditions please let me know in advance so I can inform you or look at the possibilities.

  • The skin is the biggest organ in your body, and we are going to add to that! The healthier your skin is, the better the tattoo will look. Start hydrating your skin at least 2 weeks in advance. You can use body lotion and start drinking at least 2 litres of water a day. Do stop using body lotion the day before the tattoo! Otherwise the skin can become spongy.

  • I cannot tattoo you if you’ve done drugs or drank alcohol the day before or the day of the tattoo. It has a giant impact on your skin and blood and can negatively impact the tattoo. I prefer if you don’t do these at least 2 days in advance. Please limit your intake during the healing process. It will negatively impact it.

  • If you like listening to a podcast, music, watching a movie or reading a book feel free to bring headphones or other entertainment to the appointment. Keep in mind that reading or watching something is not possible in all positions. Although you can absolutely talk to me I am often very concentrated whilst tattooing and won’t always be able to hold a nice conversation.

  • We cannot guarantee the safety of children and pets.
If you require a service animal we can accommodate you.

  • Bring comfortable clothing. Make sure we can easily reach the spot that we are going to tattoo. You can, for example, bring a vest and wear it the wrong way around if we tattoo your back. I also recommend to wear dark clothing or clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. It is possible tattoo ink will get on your clothing and sadly, it is impossible to get out.

  • It is very important to me that you tell me what you want! If you want to move the stencil or change the colour or feel uncomfortable for any reason please let me know! We will find a way :)

  • If you have anything you think you miss on this list, please let me know! The more I can help you prepare the better!
